Trilingual Education

At present, foreign languages are becoming one of the main factors of both the socio-economic and general cultural progress of society. To preserve multilingualism in the modern world, various measures are being taken, including the presence of a foreign language in the educational process of the college. As part of the task of preserving the linguistic diversity in Kazakhstan, it is planned, first of all, to create conditions for teaching the native language to representatives of ethnic groups living in Kazakhstan. To this end, it is planned to provide educational and methodological assistance, as well as attracting experienced native-speaking teachers, using international experience and modern technologies in teaching native languages. An important task is the study of English and other foreign languages. One of the key components of the lexical capital of Kazakhstanis is the knowledge of foreign languages as a means of business and international communication.

In this regard, the college pays attention to the implementation of trilingual education aimed at training competitive specialists by introducing innovative teaching technologies in three languages into the educational process. Work to strengthen the language skills of college students is aimed at internationalization, the successful adaptation of graduate students in the domestic and international labor markets.

Conducting classes in a foreign language began in the 2016-2017 school year, when for students of some educational programs, as part of an experiment, the study of some disciplines in English was organized, so in the specialty "Translation Studies" the discipline "Fundamentals of Marketing and Management" is held in English.

The aim of the program is the implementation of trilingual education aimed at training competitive specialists by introducing innovative teaching technologies in three languages into the educational process. The phased implementation of the program allowed us to begin the transition to training on the principle: 50% of academic disciplines in their native language, 30% of academic disciplines in English, and 20% of academic disciplines in a second language.

During classes in the trilingualism program, teachers use a variety of teaching methods that allow you to combine the study of the subject and language, that is, they implement integrated learning.
