The training program 6В01901 - “Defectology” is developed for training of personnel in the field of pedagogical sciences as part of the training of specialists in special pedagogy.
The goal of the training program 6В01901 - “Defectology” is to prepare a specialist, a teacher of a new generation, who possess practical skills and leadership qualities, is able to solve scientific, pedagogical, industrial and technological problems to implement correctional pedagogical, educational, developmental, consultative, diagnostic and analytical activities at educational and health institutions.
The relevance of the training program 6В01901 - “Defectology” implies the goals of educational preparation of bachelors with critical thinking, knowledge of advanced teaching technologies, who is able to integrate in modern conditions, as well as implement an innovative approach to the training of special defectologists who are able to effectively carry out corrective and pedagogical activities in a system of comprehensive, special and inclusive education, health care and social protection, considering the needs and abilities of people with disabilities.
