Educational Program 6B03201 - "Journalism" is designed to train highly qualified specialists with a competitive level of knowledge, professional skills and competencies in journalism, media communications and digital technologies, who are able to successfully carry out professional activities in mass media, media structures, press offices, digital platforms and communication agencies in Kazakhstan and abroad.
Developed competencies: skills in using modern information and communication technologies in various areas of professional activity, research and practical work, and for other purposes; justification of the choice of the most appropriate technology for solving specific tasks; ability to use Internet information resources, cloud and mobile services for searching, storing, processing and disseminating information; ability to use software and hardware of computer systems and networks for collecting, transmitting, processing and storing data; analysis and justification of the choice of information protection methods and tools; ability to develop data analysis and management tools for various types of activity; implementation of project activities using modern information and communication technologies.
Purpose of the Educational Program: To train competent media professionals who possess general cultural, general professional and professional skills for working with multimedia tools, are able to solve tasks in the world of new media, and master the technologies and practical methods of creating journalistic material, including its creative, organizational and marketing stages.
The Educational Program is designed in a way that allows it to be adapted to the individual needs of each learner within the framework of educational standards.
