Tri-lingual program

Miras teachers had the opportunity to improve or study English within the tri-lingual program run by the University Miras since 2015. The training was arranged thanks to the cooperation between the University and Dynamic Education International, which is distinguished with teaching English via software and regaular support of its trainees in online regime. The DynEd would compile the course in accordance with the trainee's level. More than 30 teachers and professors of Miras University were trained and improved their level within 2-month studying. Teachers were awarded with the certificates that were handed in by Jeoffrey Whitney - General Director of DynEd office in Astana.

During the ceremony of awarding teachers had a small talk with Jeoffrey in English demonstrating their improved English.

Access Summer Camp 2018

On 20-22 June there was a summer camp for Access Program students on the basis of Miras University. Although the camp was arranged inside the city there was no opportunity for students get bored. The camp program involved discussion on future plans when they graduate the Access Program. The talk was arranged after watching and discussing the TED talk by Candy Chang 'Before I die I want to ...'. Students expressed their diverse wishes to work in New York. Another skill they developed was logical thinking taking part in the board game 'English Wars'. Students got excited to try their physical abilities and stamina when they were exercising at Workout station under the guidance of Timur Mirzakhmedov - the cofounder of “Baska Zhol”.  Students with great enthusiasm followed his instructions and did push-ups, squats and pull-ups.

International scientific and practical conference

In accordance with the program of the international student scientific-practical conference "Innovations and practical realities in the sphere of economy, law and information and communication technologies" of December 6, 2017, the section "Innovation technologies used in finance, accounting and audit" was organized in the building University "Miras" on the street. Kurnakov, in the audience of 204. The work of the section was conducted according to the program.

Charity concert

"Dobro Miras" pleased the students with a charity concert. At first, the fair took place, the proceeds of which went to charity. Then came the talents of the university. The dances and voices of the children gave viewers a friendly and warm atmosphere. Such events are aimed at attracting the attention of all students and teachers.

Debating tournament

The Intellectual Club held a debating tournament dedicated to the 20th anniversary of the University of Miras. Several universities took part in the tournament. Several nominations were held. The winners were awarded with a cup and prizes from the University of Miras.
