Academic Internship for postgraduate students, PhD students and staff at any program in Antalya

Internship of  undergraduates is targeted at gaining information on the latest theoretical, methodological and technological achievements of foreign science, modern methods of scientific research, processing and interpreting experimental data. Also the purpose of it embraces competences development, acquisition of practical skills and experience in a major  degree as well as gaining best practices.
Miras University offers to undergo traineeship at the Academy of Tourism, which is one of Turkey's leading institutions. Academy of Tourism is licensed by the Turkish Ministry of Education and is accredited by the Educational Institute of the Association of Hotels of the USA (EI-AH & LA). The education system is based on the EI-AHLA, BKF educational programs and combines the best traditions and vast experience in international education in this field of studying. Studying foreign languages is of special consideration. Higher education programs are based on the European Institute of Business and Economics ones (Budapest Metropolitan University of Applied Sciences).

Traineeship at the Academy of Tourism makes it possible for each participant of the program to increase a professional level of their competence and international experience, to share their professional skills, as well as to observe and experience rich history and culture of Turkey.

The cost of internship in Turkey for 7 days: $ 750

The package expenses cover:

  • Registration and course attendance, transfer from / to the airport, accommodation in a double room for 3 people, two meals a day;
  • Additional activities are not included in the price of the main program, mentioned above;
  • At the end of the course successful completion students will be awarded with certificates from the university, which are included in the course fee;
  • Students who have exceeded the limit of stay, have to pay an additional amount of one-day stay in the amount of 70 USD. 3 meals a day are included in the amount of one-day stay;
  • Accident insurance, emergency medical services, daily transfers are not included in the price of the main program;
  • Accommodation is provided in the area of  Konyaalti / Lara Antalya (close to the sea);
  • Minimum number of participants is 10 people;
  • With 10 people in a group the 11th one is served  for free.

Course Program ' Achievements of the Hospitality Industry in Turkey' with practical tutorials in hotels

Academy of Tourism in Antalya offers the course on "Achievements of the hospitality industry in Turkey" to everyone (employees of hotels, travel agencies, tour companies, university professors and students).
This is a unique opportunity to combine a holiday in the most popular resort of the Mediterranean Sea and to gain valuable professional knowledge and skills with leading experts in Turkish hospitality industry. This program provides a theoretical course, training in the best hotels and hotel recommendations from Turkish business professionals.
The training program includes classes with professors of the Academy of Tourism in Antalya and specialists of 5 star hotels. The program dates are defined for a group of 10 people.
Length of the course - 1 week.

The training program covers:
- Classroom training

  • Activities of the front office department;
  • Operation of the F&B (Food and Beverage) department;
  • Sales and Marketing in Iospitality industry;
  • Human Resources management in the hospitality industry, personnel training and development.

- Training on these modules is run in the best tourist enterprises of Antalya region
Program cost: $ 750.  

The price covers:
Accommodation and 2 meals at a 3-star hotel, transfers from and to the airport, city tour. At the end of the course students are awarded with the Certificate of the Academy of Tourism in Antalya.

Medical insurance is issued on the spot upon arrival of students. The cost of health insurance is specified further.
Additional classes of English and Turkish with native speakers could be arranged at the request.  
Within the framework of the Agreement the Academy of Tourism in Antalya could organize short-term courses at our request on any subject in the field of management, restaurant business, hotel, tourism, human resource management, etc. In case if a group comprises 10 participants a group-leader is provided with accommodation, meals and training for free. The curse dates are scheduled by participants.

Training Program "Buffet Breakfast'' Training + Internship)
 

The International Academy of Tourism in Antalya offers the course "Organization and Operation of Buffet Service" for everyone who is interested in gaining practical knowledge in Catering and Hospitality Industry, namely to understand the rules of organizing and serving buffet. This is a unique opportunity for cooks, waiters, head waiters of restaurants and hotel staff to improve their professionalism and competence.
Course lasts for 6 days at convenient time for a group.

Course Program:

1. Theoretical part:

  • Notion and types of Buffet;
  • Organization of Buffet Service in different countries;
  • Special Equipment for Buffet;
  • Product Choice of Dishes and Drinks of Buffet;
  • Laying of Buffet Service;
  • Safety of Food;
  • Record keeping system of Buffet Service. Cost planning.

2. Practical part:
Internship at best restaurants and hotels in Antalya.

Schedule:
1st day: Arrival at Antalya, transfer, accommodation. Meeting with representatives of the Academy and International training center 'Eduant'. Free time for a trip around.
2d day, 4th day: Lectures on the training program. Free time (an excursion for additional fee)
3d, 5th day: Internship at the best hotels and restaurants along the Mediterranean coast line  of Turkey. Free time (an excursion for additional fee)
6th day: Visiting the best restaurants in Antalya. Certification ceremony.
7th day:free time. Departure for the airport. Flight to Moscow.

Course prices:

750 $. Costs cover accommodation in 3* hotel, 2 meals a day, transfer to and from the airport, classes, practical training in the hotel, city tour.

Additional payment:

• The difference in residence, if you choose to stay in 4 and 5 star hotels;
• Health insurance - $ 11 for 7 days;
• Flight;
• Excursions (optional).

At the end of the course participants are awarded with the  Certificate of Antalya Academy of Tourism.

Dual Diploma Program

University students will gain education simultaneously at the Academy of Tourism for 2 academic years (part-time or distance, without leaving the basic institution) and will obtain a Turkish and American (optional) Diploma in the Hotel Management Degree (Diploma Program).
Students can take an internship for additional fee in Antalya (exams can also be organized in Antalya or in distance). Cost of the program depends on the number of students participating in the program.
On request students can receive Higher Education (Bachelor's degree), after they have studied another (third) additional year. In this case students will gain degree in "Economics in Tourism and Catering", the European Union diploma.

'Training + Internship' Program

The  Academy of Tourism offers a Certificate after 1 year training in the Academy of Tourism (part-time or distance training from October 2016 to May 2017), as well as an internship in the best hotels and restaurants on the Antalya coast (from May 2017 by the end of September 2017).  During the period of internship, students will be provided with free accommodation and meals, and will receive a monthly salary of $ 300. On completion of the course students will obtain a Certificate of completion of education and internship.

Training + Internship Programs:

  • 1 year training (full-time/part-time) + internship - 3200 euro;
  • 1 semester (i.e. starting from the 2d semester) + internship - 1800 euro;
  • Internship + 1 year training (full-time/ part-time) + internship - 3700 euro.

Education is possible in both Russian and English languages. During the internship, the students accommodation, meals are provided for free and gain a salary of 300 US dollars. More detailed information can be found on these programs as follows:

3,5 months of training + 6 months of internship

The  Program that covers 3.5 months of training + 6 months internship is a great opportunity to gain basics of management in the  industry of hospitality and develop practical skills in the best hotels and restaurants. Internship is run in the best hotels and restaurants of Antalya coastline of Turkey.

Training - from February 1, 2016 to May 18, 2016
From May 19, 2016 to October 30, 2016 - internship in hotels of Antalya region.

Program 'Summer Course - 2016'

Within the framework of the summer camp at the International Academy of Tourism in Antalya there is an intensive course of the English language for students and teachers.

English language course for students:
