UNT guide

Unified National Testing (UNT) is one of the forms of screening examinations for admission to higher and (or) post-graduate institutions.

UNT is conducted for:

  • students of graduation 11(12) classes of secondary education institutions for enrollment in higher education institutions on a paid basis at their will;
  • graduates of secondary education institutions of the current year for participation in the educational grant awarding competition at the expense of the republican budget funds or the local budget funds or for enrollment in higher education institutions on a paid basis at their will;
  • graduates of secondary education institutions of previous years, technical and vocational education or post-secondary education for participation in the educational grant awarding competition at the expense of the republican budget funds or the local budget funds or for enrollment in higher education institutions on a paid basis at their will;
  • graduates of technical and vocational education or post-secondary education enrolled under educational programs of higher education, which provide shortened period of study, for participation in the educational grant awarding competition at the expense of the republican budget funds or the local budget funds at their will;
  • graduates of secondary education institutions, having studied abroad under the program of international exchange of students, as well as nonresidents of the Republic of Kazakhstan of Kazakh ethnicity having graduated from educational institutions abroad, for participation in the educational grant awarding competition at the expense of the republican budget funds or the local budget funds at their will;
  • students enrolled in higher education institutions under intramural form of study on a paid basis prior to completion of the first academic period for enrollment in higher education institutions on a paid basis;
  • students of higher education institutions studying under a group of educational programs requiring  creative training and desiring to transfer to other groups of educational programs.
